Thee Sacred Souls, LA LOM & The Womack Sisters Announce North American 'Constellation Tour'
The amphitheater run promises a potent mix of modern soul, vintage cumbia, and undeniable West Coast heat.
Where sweet soul meets summer nights, a new touring powerhouse emerges. This August, the modern West Coast sound is packing its bags and heading nationwide as Thee Sacred Souls, LA LOM, and The Womack Sisters join forces for The Constellation Tour.
Kicking off next month, the sprawling 20-plus date North American amphitheater trek will serve as a traveling showcase of Southern California’s vibrant, genre-blurring musical landscape. Raised on classic soul, hypnotic cumbia rhythms, and neighborhood cookouts, the triple-bill promises heart-melting harmonies and instrumental heat for audiences across the continent.
For the uninitiated, San Diego’s Thee Sacred Souls have rapidly evolved from indie-soul darlings to arena-ready heavyweights. Blending 1960s and ’70s R&B warmth with sharp contemporary sensibilities, the trio’s lush instrumentation and tender vocals have struck a massive chord.
Following their 2024 breakout album, Got A Story To Tell, the band has experienced a meteoric rise. Over the past two years, they’ve checked off every major industry box: a captivating NPR Tiny Desk concert, marquee slots at Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza, and late-night appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Later… with Jools Holland.
Now boasting over eight million monthly listeners on Spotify and a high-profile fanbase that includes Beyoncé, SZA, Alicia Keys, and Leon Bridges, Thee Sacred Souls are stepping into their headline era. The Constellation Tour comes hot on the heels of their massive twin sell-outs at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre this past April, marking a triumphant new chapter for the relentless road warriors.
Providing the Latin instrumental heat is LA LOM (The Los Angeles League of Musicians). The L.A.-based trio has carved out a unique space in the industry by melding vintage cumbia, bolero, and rock into a golden, cinematic soundscape.
Their self-titled 2024 debut garnered widespread acclaim for capturing the laid-back, romantic soul of East L.A. Praised by the Los Angeles Times for a sound that “transcends time periods and genres,” LA LOM is anchored by tight percussion and nostalgic guitar melodies. Having already commanded stages at Austin City Limits and the Newport Folk & Jazz Festival, they stand as one of the most exciting acts redefining instrumental Latin fusion on the live circuit today.
If Thee Sacred Souls and LA LOM are the established groove, The Womack Sisters are the scene’s most potent rising stars. As the daughters of Cecil and Linda Womack—and the granddaughters of the legendary Sam Cooke—music isn’t just a passion; it’s in their DNA.
BG, Zeimani, and Kucha Womack are successfully reviving the essence of soul for a new generation. Following a pair of uncompromisingly authentic singles (”If You Want Me” and “I Just Don’t Want You (To Say Goodbye)”) produced by soul mainstay Gabe Roth via Daptone Records, the trio is writing the bold next chapter of their family’s iconic lineage.
Fans won’t have to wait long for the full experience: their self-titled debut album drops via Daptone on August 14. In a fitting coronation, the sisters will celebrate the release day by sharing the stage with Al Green at the Hollywood Bowl before continuing on the Constellation run.
