Chart Check: David Guetta & Jennifer Lopez Team Up for Dance-Pop Anthem ‘Save Me Tonight’
The Night That Saved Us: Inside Jennifer Lopez and David Guetta’s High-Stakes Vegas Takeover
The charts are bracing for a heavyweight collision. Today (March 6th), Grammy-winning producer David Guetta and global superstar Jennifer Lopez released their highly anticipated collaboration, “Save Me Tonight.”
The release marks a pivotal moment for both artists. Guetta enters 2026 coming off a historic 2025, where he became the first artist to secure 20 #1’s on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. That record-breaking feat was fueled by the success of “Gone Gone Gone” (feat. Teddy Swims and Tones And I).
“Save Me Tonight” arrives just as Lopez kicks off the 2026 leg of her acclaimed residency, THE JLO SHOW, at Caesars Palace. To celebrate the drop, Lopez will provide a global live debut of the track during tonight’s performance, which will be simulcast across her major social media platforms.
The track itself is a high-energy “call to connection,” blending Lopez’s “happy era” vocals with Guetta’s signature club-ready production. Fans have been vocal about the release since Lopez teased the track during her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour and her World Pride set last summer.
Guetta’s 2026 itinerary is equally massive. Beyond the new single, the DJ Mag #1 DJ is set to headline Coachella and Tomorrowland, alongside his upcoming “Galactic Circus” residency at the new Ibiza mega-club UNVRS. His “Monolith” tour stop at Red Rocks recently sold out instantly, with a queue exceeding 300,000 fans.
With “Save Me Tonight,” two of the most enduring forces in music have created a track that seems destined for the top of the dance charts.
