CultureCon 2024: A Celebration of Diverse Creatives with Star-Studded Headliners
CultureCon: Where Diverse Creators Shine with Star-Studded Power
Brooklyn is about to buzz with the return of CultureCon™, the ultimate gathering for creators, entrepreneurs, and innovators of color. This year’s event is set to take place on Saturday, October 5, and Sunday, October 6 at the Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn Navy Yard, with a full week of exciting lead-up events from Sunday, September 30, to Friday, October 4, during CultureCon Week. Presented by Max and backed by major partners like McDonald's, Verizon, Netflix, and Gucci, CultureCon promises to be bigger and bolder than ever before.
The Headliners: An Unmissable Lineup
This year’s stellar lineup will be headlined by award-winning actress and singer Cynthia Erivo, powerhouse actress and producer Yara Shahidi, and celebrity stylist and Image Architect® Law Roach. These trailblazing figures are known not only for their impact on the entertainment industry but also for their ongoing contributions to cultural conversations on representation and diversity.
Founder and CEO of CultureCon, Imani Ellis, emphasized the significance of this year’s conference, stating, "We’re so honored to see CultureCon take its place as a global platform that champions creativity, community, and democratizes access for diverse creatives. I'm beyond excited to celebrate culture-shifters who inspire us all to be unapologetic in our pursuit for creative equity. Together, we're creating a space where innovation thrives and opportunities are limitless."
For the first time ever, CultureCon unveils an exciting new theme: Camp CultureCon. Campers will be invited to experience a space where creativity is free to roam. Packed with immersive activations, insightful panel discussions, and invaluable networking opportunities, this year’s event will celebrate creativity in full swing.
Leading up to the conference, CultureCon Week will host an array of exclusive events including intimate dinners, film screenings, and dynamic activities to get attendees warmed up. But the main event spans two full days of skill-building workshops, breakout sessions, and the much-anticipated return of the Block Party, closing out the weekend in style.
For years, CultureCon has been a platform where Black and Brown creatives come to connect, collaborate, and build their careers. It serves as a hub for fostering growth and innovation. The conference is renowned for its diverse and inspiring roster of speakers, including past attendees such as Tracee Ellis Ross, Will Smith, Issa Rae, Spike Lee, John Legend, and many more. These influential voices have offered insight and inspiration to thousands of creatives aiming to make their mark across various industries.
